The boy wanted to give her one final message through the piano keys during the cadenza. He told her “I love your this, your that, and your everything.” But he stopped before he reached he coda, the part that translates to ’I love you’. Her father decided to play it for him, he played the last notes of the song the boy failed to finish. Her father played the final part that now translates to ‘he loves you’. The girl smiles at the end because she knows that the boy loves her and that’s all that matters. She knows the boy loves her even though he was gone. ©
